Course Description

Hello, and welcome to Parent Coach Online Training. The purpose of this training is to prepare you for the live parent coach training at which you will deepen, strengthen, and practice the skills you learn here.

Parent Coaching combines the compassion and life experience you already possess with evidence-based practices in the field of substance abuse treatment and recovery. What you learn will build upon what you already know and feel.

Please note that this course is only for persons who have volunteered to serve as Parent Coaches for the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids Parent Support Network.

Parent Support Network Team

The Parent Support Network is an initiative of the Partnership for Drug-Free Kids that supports families who are trying to help loved ones affected by substance abuse and addiction.
